The reaction mixture was washed with sat. [NAHC03,] brine and dried [(MGS04).] The title compound was isolated by silica gel chromatography (0-35% EtOAc-hexanes). Yield 3.6 g (68%). [1H NMR] (300 MHz, [CDC13)] : 3.34-3. 40 (d, [J=] 11 Hz, 2H), 3.66 (s, 2H), 3.80- 3.89 (t, [J=] 12 Hz, 2H), 5. [10] (s, 2H), 7.27-7. [38] (m, [5H).]
